Lord Jesus Christ, on this day you raised from the dead;
Teach us to reverence this your holy day
And give us grace so to use it
That we may rise to the newness of life
To your honour and glory
Who lives and reigns with the father and the Holy Spirit, one God world without end.

God be in my head and in my understanding,
God be in my eyes and in my looking
God be in my lips and in my speaking
God be in my heart and in my thinking
God be at my end and at my departing.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I can not change,
The courage to change the things that I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.

Day by day, dear Lord, of thee three things I pray,
To see thee more clearly,
Love thee more dearly,
follow thee more nearly,
Day by day.

Christ be with me, Christ within me,
Christ be behind me, Christ be before me,
Christ be beside me, Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort and restore me,
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ in quiet, Christ in danger,
Christ in the hearts of all that love me, Christ in the mouth of friend and stanger.

Lord God, we are yours.
We worship you and we seek to serve you,
We place our lives afresh in your hands.
Take us as we are, and make us what you would have us be:
And do fill us with your holy spirit that we may be strong for your service
And used wholly for your glory:
Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
